Submit your best printmaking work for Alexander Ink

        SCAD Printmaking Department invites you to submit your best printmaking work for Alexander Ink!  Alexander Ink is open to all students from the Savannah and Atlanta campuses as well as alumni working in printmaking processes such as intaglio, lithography, relief, serigraphy, and monotype.   

 Dates

        Submission Period: March 27th - 11:59pm on May 1st

        Notification of acceptance: Wednesday, May 13th 2026

       Accepted work must be delivered framed to Alexander Hall with Lexi Baker no later than 4:30pm on Wednesday, June 3rd. 

       Email Lexi Baker at llbaker@scad.edu to schedule drop off/delivery. 

 Atlanta Students: All work must be delivered to Robert Brown in 517C in building 1600 no later than 5pm on May 28th for transport to the Savannah Campus. 

       Exhibition: June 11th - September 20th 2026

       Closing Reception & Awards: September 17th 2026, 5pm-7pm, Alexander Hall Gallery

 BEST GRAD IN SHOW ($250.00 prize)

 2nd Place ($250.00 prize)

 3rd Place ($100.00 prize)

 Honorable Mention 1 ($75.00 prize)

 Honorable Mention 2 ($75.00 prize)

 Honorable Mention 3 ($75.00 prize)

 Honorable Mention 4 ($75.00 prize)

Submission Requirements

        · Work must be created using at least one method of printmaking. This includes but is not limited to screen-printing, lithography, relief, etching, and monoprint.

       · Submit 1 - 4 images by 11:59pm on Friday, May 1st at 11:59pm

 How to enter

        1. Upload quality digital images through Submittable.

       2. One work per submission. Each piece will need a separate submission.

 If your work is accepted for exhibition, you must abide by the following requirements and timeline:

        · Deliver framed accepted works to Alexander Hall no later than 4:30pm on Wednesday, June 3rd. Email Lexi Baker at llbaker@scad.edu to schedule drop off/delivery.

       · All accepted works must be professionally framed and ready to hang prior to drop off/delivery.

       · If actual work differs from submitted images, it may be rejected from exhibition.

       · If shipping is required please ship ready-to-hang framed works addressed as written in bold below. Artist is responsible for shipping costs with paid return label.

       · When the exhibition ends, students will take their works right off the gallery walls of Alexander Hall by 11:59pm on September 21st. SCAD is not responsible for storage of work if not picked up by September 21st.
