Submit your best printmaking work for Alexander Ink

SCAD Printmaking Department invites you to submit your best printmaking work for Alexander Ink!
Alexander Ink is open to all students from the Savannah and Atlanta campuses as well as alumni working in printmaking processes such as intaglio, lithography, relief, serigraphy, and monotype.

Submission Period: May 16, 2022 - July 22, 2022
Notification of acceptance: August 1, 2022
Physical work drop off: No later than August 22nd

Atlanta Students: All work must be delivered to Robert Brown in 517C in building 1600 no later than 5pm on August 18th for transport to the Savannah Campus. 

Exhibition: August 25, 2022 - October 1, 2022
Closing Reception & Awards: September 30th, 2022, 5pm-7pm, Alexander Hall Gallery

Award Categories
BEST IN SHOW ($500.00 prize)
2nd Place ($250.00 prize)
3rd Place ($100.00 prize)
Honorable Mention ($50.00 prize)

Submission Requirements
· Work must be created using at least one method of printmaking. This includes but is not limited to screen-printing, lithography, etching, and monoprint.
· Submit 1 - 6 images by 11:59pm on Friday, July 22, 2022

How to enter
1. Upload quality digital images through Submittable.
2. One work per submission. Each piece will need a separate submission.

If your work is accepted for exhibition, you must abide by the following requirements and timeline:
· Deliver framed accepted works to SCAD Exhibition Storage no later than August 22,2022. Email Michael Runnels at to schedule drop off/delivery.
· All accepted works must be professionally framed and ready to hang prior to drop off/delivery to Exhibition Storage.
· If actual work differs from submitted images, it may be rejected from exhibition.
· Deliver or ship ready-to-hang framed work to SCAD Exhibition Storage, Attn: Michael Runnels, Registrar, 102 E. Lathrop Ave., Savannah, GA 31415.
· When the exhibition ends, email Michael Runnels at to schedule return or pick up of work from 102 E. Lathrop Ave., Savannah, GA, 31415. SCAD Exhibitions is not responsible for storage of work if not picked up by end of Fall Quarter.
